Father’s Day is coming up this weekend, and that means it’s time to grab some gifts for all the dads out there. I’m always up for a good poker gift, but gadgets are a lot of fun, too. Here are some of my top picks for gifts this year:

    1. Poker Chip Sets: There are a variety of great chip sets that let you have the whole poker experience without needing to leave your   house. Amazon.com offers a good selection for affordable prices.
    2. iPad: It may be a bit on the pricier side, but the great thing about an iPad is that there is a huge selection of apps and ebooks available for it, many of which can help improve your poker game. In fact, my books are available for download on the iPad, as is my free Poker Calculator app.
    3. Golf Clubs: I’m a huge fan of golf, and like many dads, I would love to get a new set of clubs for when I next hit the links. Sites like Golfsmith offer a huge selection of clubs that can fit any budget.
    4. Roku Streaming Player: If your dad is like me, he probably misses a lot of his favorite shows because he is busy watching WSOP coverage or playing poker. That’s where the Roku Streaming Player comes into play. Priced as low as $49.99, these devices can stream TV shows and movies from the likes of Netflix, Hulu Plus, and HBO Go.
    5. World Series of Poker Merchandise: For the true World Series of Poker fans, the league’s official website has a ton of cool apparel and goodies. I’m personally a fan of their glassware; perfect for beer or whatever else you may be drinking.
    6. Play Poker Like A Pro: It wouldn’t be a Phil Hellmuth gift guide without something from me! Over at www.pokerbrat.com, you can find my book Play Poker Like A Pro along with DVDs and cool Poker Brat t-shirt and hats.

Check out this great moment I shared with my son during the WSOP!
