WSOP Main Event = White Magic Time!
The 2013 World Series of Poker has been a challenging one for me. Near misses, busts, and late starts have all added up to more than one disappointing finish. But I’m ready to MAN UP and head in to this year’s Main Event feeling strong!! I’m on the hunt for my 100th WSOP cash finish, not to mention bracelet #14! My dream is to score big here and make a deep run toward the final table, and I’m planning to do so with what I like to call “White Magic”…

DUNK TANK

All for charity – the tank (at this year’s WSOP) was sponsored by One Drop, a non-profit organization that strives to ensure clean water is accessible to all. One Drop is an official partner of the WSOP and their goal is to raise $1,111,111 by challenging players to donate 1% of their winnings.

Derby Week Continues!
I held my annual Charity Derby Poker Championship last night, and it was off the hook! So many great guests – from celebrities, to poker players, to entrepreneurs.
I’m a fan of this woman! Jane Seymour…Hearts.

Derby Week 2013
It’s officially Kentucky Derby week, and I’m ready to spend some of my hard-earned $$$. For me, Derby week means a limo 24/7, black tie, charity events, Millionaires Row, VIP lists and police escorts. Nice life!
On Wednesday I had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out with world-class horse trainer Bob Baffert and his wife at the “Trackside” event at Churchill Downs.

From Poker News: Derby Poker Championship Returns to Kick-off 2013 Derby Weekend

On Thursday, May 2, 2013 the Derby Poker Championship Celebrity Gala will return to Louisville, Kentucky, for a fourth consecutive year. The event, which benefits the Louisville affiliate of Susan G. Komen and Blessings in a Backpack, will be hosted by Hall of Fame basketball coach Denny Crum and poker pros Phil Hellmuth and Robert Williamson III.
“We support Blessings in a Backpack and Susan G. Komen Foundation and they are excellent Charities that do great work,” Hellmuth told PokerNews. “In fact, I will get out personally and stuff backpacks w food snacks for kids that need food in a local school in Louisville on Thursday morning.”
In the past, the event, which serves as the Official Welcome Party for the Unbridled Eve Celebrity Gala, has attracted an array of high-profile Derby guests including comedian Ron White; the Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki Gunvalson; best-selling author Nora Roberts; The Offices’ Oscar Nunez; former NFL quarterback Warren Moon; pro golfer Corey Pavin; Indy car driver Troy Hanson; and The Bachelor’s Bob Guiney, just to name a few.
